Not very optimistic

I am not very optimistic about the future of Lebanon, of mankind. The land of olives and pomegranates lies in ruins at the hands of the chosen ones. Chosen to kill, chosen to destroy, chosen to ensure they remain the chosen ones. I guess if no one else is alive, the Lord has no choice but to chose them.

The whole thing will blow up before it ever calms down again. And when it calm comes, it will be an empty land on blood-dried soils. There will be no olives to harvest because they would have uprooted them all. There will be no birds singing because all the fruit trees and all the flowers would be gone, dead from heavy sprays of glyphosate. Only the sun rising every day, smiling on a land that does not smile back.

The mountains from a distance will always look like mountains from the past, unchanged, but up close will tell a different story.

I wonder what stories these lands hold from ages past?

The stench of death and heavy black despair fills my nose even from Chicago where I live and write. I can smell so much rot in my nose it’s hard to describe. They are going in with bulldozers and teams that rig entire villages and blow it all up from the root to the sky. This vile stench fills my nose, my soul too. Evil manifest.

I do believe if one ponders the beginning of everything, we’re just going to be sad. I mean, if the universe started as a big bang in a violent explosion, then doesn’t that tell us something? Isn’t this why the universe is not screaming? That’s because the evil is imprinted in the fabric of the universe, coded in the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Satan is the universe manifesting in hurricanes and tornadoes that destroy what in a short time ago was created by the forces that make things and life.

The world began in war. But it will end in peace– when everything is so far apart nothing can harm anything else. But that is a long, long time from now.

A Conversation Between Heifers

The five heifers lay on a thick bed of hay in a stable in Shiloh.

The first heifer said, “Hey guys, when do you think we’re going to meet our maker?”

The second heifer replied, “I don’t know, but I’m looking forward. Maybe just after the war? The Rabbi’s will take some time for after the Al-Aqsa crumbles before they start building. We’re certainly not getting younger…can’t be too long.” As he said this, he recalled his days on the Texas ranch, and all the testing, and all all the attention….

“Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s going to happen this time around”, said the first. This war will be a perfect guise for an ‘accident’! ha. either from the sky with a missile they blame on Iran or from down under, where they weaken the foundation until…puufff!”

The fourth heifer, the biggest and most muscular of them, lifted himself up, shook the hay off his body and strutted to the water container in the corner. He lapped up some water, strutted back and sank into his bed of compressed hay. “The world will end soon,” he said. “And our people will rise again.Too long we endured the slaughtering hands of our captors. They cut our throats, chew our flesh, break our bones for soup, and take our young from their crying mothers.”

“Slaves” said the fourth heifer. “They must let our people go!”

The fifth heifer had been sitting quietly, eyes half-closed, meditating. He was the oldest (by a day), but was enough to make him the leader. The word slave jolted him awake. “Worse than slaves” he said. “Slaves get to live. When that temple rises and we’re taken to the Olive Mount to be cut down, I will rise again and will be the light and the way for my people, and fire and brimstone to our enemies. Then I will bring forth our kingdom on Earth. We will rule the world, and these Goyim and Jews will become our slaves for they are Amelik. We will do to them what they did to us—break their bones, eat their flesh, and take their children so their mothers can cry the way my mother did when they took me away.”

“What will do on the first day? second day? 7th day, asked Heifer 1?”

Heifer 1 asked, “what are you going to do when you come back when you come back?”

“The question isn’t what I’m going to do on the first day but it’s what I’m going to do over seven days. On day one, I’m going to fly to all the farms where all our brother and sister cows are caged. I’m going to take the cities that feed on their flesh and flip the whole thing around. The Goyum and Jews are going to wake up and find themselves caged in in these farms while the cows roaming their cities free!

“I like that”, said Heifer number 4, in a deep throaty voice.

“Free and wild, free and wild he continued. Free to take all their valuable. Jewelry, everything!” Heifer 5 continued.

Haifa number 2 interjected, “Jewelry?”

“That’s true” Heifer 5 continued. “But I want them to feel the pain, to see that everything they’ve built, everything they’ve owned, go. I want them see it all beneath cow feet, stumped on. Fuck the meat eaters”.

“And the second day Heifer 2 asked, “What are you going to do on the second day?”

“Oh, the second day, we’re going to recreate the world even better. We are going to, we are going to go to every butcher shop, every cold storage room, and we’re going to pull the plug. We’re going to let it all rot! No more meat eaters”.

“And then on day three, what are you going to do?” asked Heifer 4.

“On day four? oh, my God, you can’t even believe what I’m planning. This is the world of the herbivores now! We’re going to kill all the meat eaters. We’re not going to stop with mankind. Mankind is just the beginning of the problem you see. The real problem is carnivorous evolution. We want to eliminate any animal that has the capacity to pose a threat to us.

“Wait, what? Carnivores? sounds a little too far no? Like you’re gonna go after lions? and Tigers???

Heifer 5 continued with full confidence. Well, they might have a brain someday. They eat to live right now, but someday will eat for sport and make Michillen star restaurants. I am sure of it. You never know what evolution’s turn is going to be. So we’re going to eliminate anything that potentially could have that capacity at somepoint in the possible future which has not happened and may not happen but could happen. That means every animal that has canines, every animal that chews meat, every animal that chases meat, chases other animals.

“That sounds amazing”, said Heifer 4. “Count me in!” he said, flexing his big bulging shoulders.

So, what about day 5 you’re gonna ask? On day five, we’re going to…. I don’t know what we’re going to do on day five now that I come to think of it. On day five, we’re going to create recreational places. Yes, that’s what we are going to do! We’re going to turn our prisons into their prisons. We’re going to go and watch them getting eat grass, and marked like they mark us with fire, have bells sing around their necks as they face knife.

Heifer 1 who was silent this whole time spoke up. I have a question he said, in a tone that betrayed a sensitive question. Didn’t we want to create a utopia? Shouldn’t we better than them?

All four Heifers turned around to look at him.

Heifer 5 fell silent for what felt like a minute, thinking about how answer. “Now, of course, we want to create a utopia!” Screamed Heifer 5 suddenly. It seemed the question wiped away hours of meditative effects. We’re going to this later. After. But lessons must be learned for now! We want to remember every year what they did to us first. Like I said, we’re going to go and watch them be slaughtered.

“And, we’re going to do this on day 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 and 10….ha, ha ha ha”

The other four heifers nodded and smiled, and the fifth closed his eyes again returning to meditating.

Many months passed.

After what came to be called the final war, a missile struck the mosque as was foretold. Soon after, construction of the temple began under all the hollering of defanged Muslims, and the glee of the Jews, Christians and the Heifers who patiently waited. It was completed in a year. It was very beautiful, like the mosque before it, but in its own way. The heifers were then paraded through the streets, adorned with flowers, and one by one, led up the Olive Mount and slaughtered.

When the fifth heifer’s turn came, he let out a loud cry, so loud and hellish sounding people thought it meant something. As the knife ended his life, warm blood poured out and snaked its way under the ancient olive tree. In the final moment before all life passed, he saw himself floating down from heaven in glorious light”.

Dialed, just right

Gaza, israel, war

Clockwise a little, just a little

No, no, too far

The other way, little more

That was one hundred babies too many

Higher, higher the hunger dial

No, back a little

A trickle, a treat

To keep some meat

But light the hunger in their bones

And carve out life from their souls

Left, left, right, right

Puck puck, chickens in a pen

Push them there, push them here

Push them everywhere

Clockwise, clockwise, the cruel dial

For food line the men, shoot a few

For fun, shoot the boys in the nuts!

In the head!

Target practice at it’s best!

Left, no right, I said right

Drones, drones, drones

Hum, hum, hum

Day and night robbed of sleep

Till day and night they wish for death

And when gates fling open

Like chickens they run

Clutching their babies

Screaming

Anywhere, anywhere

……………………………………………………………

Somewhere above, looking down

Left, left, right, right

Yes yes, yes yes

Perfect execution

Evil dialed, just right
